This 1953 picture of the Bramwell High School Marching Band may bring back many a fond memory for those who had the privilage of being a member of this organization. Mr. David Richardson was Bramwell High School's first band director. He came to Bramwell after graduating from Concord College in the Summer of 1949. His outstanding knowlege of music, backed by his exceptional ability to teach, made membership in the BHS Band a memorable and cherished experience for many students. Mr. Richardson worked within the Mercer County school system for thirty five years. He retired in 1985. |
