BEVERLY E. MITCHELL MCVEY

Beverly E. Mitchell McVey, 74, of Simmons River Road (Duhring), Bluefield, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at her home.Born on November 1, 1942 in Duhring, she was a daughter of the late John Calude and Edith Bailey Mitchell.

She had been a lifelong resident of Duhring and was a member of the Pine Grove Church of Christ. She was retired from WV State University in Institute, WV where she worked for many years in administration.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Dailey McVey; and sisters, Mary Stone, Peggy Hensley and Joan Whittaker.

Survivors include her:

Son: John K. McVey and April of Nitro, WV.
Daughters: Amy J. McVey of Duhring and Amanda R. McVey of Duhring
Grandchildren: Caitlyn Taylor, Christopher McVey, and Nathan McVey.
Sister: Shirley Jennings of Flint, MI
Brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Darrell and Louise McVey of Falls Mills, VA. Sister-in-law: Janet McVey of Brushfork
Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at the Pine Grove Church of Christ in Bluewell with Minister Gary Lamie officiating.
