| This early 1940s colorized photograph features one of the American Coal Company miners and his wife. Marshall Crawford and his wife Ora lived above the McComas High School and up Church Hollow in McComas, WV. Mr. Crawford is shown here with his dinner bucket in hand as he walked to work across the mountain from where they lived. |
