On November 4, 1999 Bramwell lost one of it's long time outstanding citizens. Mrs. Virginia Perry Davis died at the age of 96. She is perhaps best known for her many years of teaching at the Bramwell Elementary School. She was a lifetime member of the Historic Bramwell Presbyterian Church. She was known throughout the Town of Bramwell as an outstanding teacher and resident. She was loved and respected by the hundreds of children that she taught during her thirty plus years at Bramwell's Elementary School. She was the mother of Paul Davis, BHS Class '49 and William Perry Davis, BHS Class '53.
