Julia "Punky" Grainger Whittaker - BHS Class '59 Julia "Punky" Whittaker 77, passed away January 12, 2019 at Baptist East Hospital, Memphis, TN. Julia was born March 25, 1941 to Robson Grainger and Eloise Ellzey Grainger in Bramwell, WV. Julia was a Presbyterian and a homemaker. Services will be held January 15, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Salem Baptist Church, Potts Camp, MS. There will be a visitation at the church from 10:00 am until service. Burial will be at the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Julia is survived by her son David Whittaker of Collierville, TN. Her daughter, Linda Cooper (Brad) of Potts Camp, MS. A sister, Frances Stone of Lebanon, TN. Three grandchildren, Megan Cooper, Dalton Cooper and Robson Whittaker. Julia was preceeded in death by her husband, Calvin Whittaker .
