GREEN VALLEY — Kathleen Virginia (Palco) Sexton, age 85, was ushered in the presence of our Lord, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Loving Hands in Green Valley, West Virginia. She was born on August 7, 1924 in Freeman, W.Va., the daughter of the late George Matthew Palco, Jr. and Bertha Mae (Harman) Palco. She graduated Bramwell High School in 1942. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education degree in 1955 from Concord College. After college she returned to Bramwell where she taught school until her retirement.

She was predeceased by her husband, Reginald Mason Sexton of Freeman, W.Va., and brother, Charles Ray Palco of Birmingham, Ala.5Survivors Include: her sister, Dorothy Mae (Palco) Wildermuth; her step-children: Joyce Ross and husband John of Bramwell, W.Va., David Sexton and wife Judy of Gainesville, Fla., Dennis Sexton and wife Lynn of Mesa, Ariz., Linda Sexton Price and husband Joel of Batavia, Ohio.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Tony Miller and Rev. James Davidson officiating. Burial followed at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Pallbearers were Dennis Sexton, David Sexton, Billy Sexton, Joel Price, Joe Price, and John Ross.
