SCHELCHER, Lena E. Age 88, of Dayton, died Friday February 4, 2005 at Heartland of Centerville. She was born December 12, 1916 in Bluefield West Virginia to J.C. and Verna Forlines. She was an R.N. for over 50 years serving many prominent Dayton residents during her private duty years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Marjorie and Patricia; brothers, Joe and Frank. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry & Beverly Schelcher of Clinton, OH., Frank & Jean Schelcher of Miamisburg, OH.; daughters and sons-in-law, Veronica & Homer Dale of Alb., N.M., Rose & Larry Verner of Bellbrook; sisters, Edna, June, Barb, Dolly and Eleanor; brothers, Don and David; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter; Funeral service will be held Thursday 11am at Meyer-Boehmer & Reis Funeral Home, A Dignity Memorial Provider, 1733 Brown St. Entombment Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
