BRAMWELL 2001 RACE RESULTS

REPORTED BY: Bill and Don Pierce Race Results for "Fall For Bramwell 5K": Bramwell, West Virginia On Saturday, September 22nd, the historic town of Bramwell celebrated the beginning of autumn with a road race whose course paralleled the Bluestone River. With perfect weather conditions and the citizens of Bramwell lining Main Street as spectators, forty-two runners competed. The recently reconstructed Train Depot provided an attractive backdrop for the start and finish of the race. Dr. Richard Ferguson, Running Journal columnist and professor from Danville, Virginia, was the overall race winner in 17:50. The first female finisher was Stacy Aulick of Huntington, West Virginia. John Wismar of Cologne, Germany, was third overall and won the 20-24 male age-group and traveled the farthest to participate. Below are the overall results and age-group award winners.
