Worth is an unincorporated community in McDowell County, West Virginia, United States. Worth is 3 miles (4.8 km) east of Northfork. The community was named after Worth Kilpatrick, a coal mining official.

There were three coal companies operating in the Worth, WV area. - Indian Ridge Coal & Coke Company, Roanoke Coal & Coke Company and Rolfe Coal & Coke Company. All three coal companies used the Worth, WV Post Office.
