SAMUAL WESLEY COWAN

Samuel Wesley Cowan was born in Aug 16, 1855 in Cove, Wythe County Virginia. He moved to Bramwell in the early 1900's. He was married to Margaret Leedy Cowan (1859-1941). They had 9 children. Samuel worked as a farmer and also a merchant in a general store. He died in Bramwell on December 2, 1921 . He is buried alongside his wife in The Oak Hill Cemetery located in nearby Freeman, West Virginia.
