SAMUAL WESLEY COWAN

Samuel Wesley Cowan was born in Aug 16, 1855 in Cove, Wythe County Virginia. He moved to Bramwell in the early 1900's. He was married to Margaret Leedy Cowan (1859-1941). They had 9 children. Samuel worked as a farmer and also a merchant in a general store. He died in Bramwell in Dec. 2, 1921 and is resting in The Oak Hill Cemetery, Freeman, WV.
