1902 Coal Train

This unique "Out-Of-The-Attic" photograph is from 1902 and was taken in Northfolk, West Virginia. The gentleman on the far bottom right of the picture is Stuard Parks and is Stuard Alexander Parks Jr's father (holding flag). This pioneer railroad crew worked the Northfolk
area coal mines by supplying the local mines with empty coal cars and gathering loaded cars
for shipment.
