Dillon Family were pioneer residents of Sinai
Mountain. The Dillions were well known
for their musical tallents that were featured in
the Mercer
County Ramblers Band . The band was
formed on Sinai Mountain, by Tracy Dillon
during the early 1930s. It was the first
band to represent the United Mine Workers
of America in southern West Virginia.The
band was composed of Ernest Dillon,
Walter "Pat" Wright, Tracy Dillon, Lundy
Dillon, and Neil Wright. |
