It was great to visit with our classmates, their spouses, family and friends. Open House at Bluestone Inn for early arrivals. Wed. July 28th - Spaghetti Dinner Thurs. July 29 - Chicken Dinner The Bramwell Theatre Corporation presented the 2010 --"Smoke on the Mountain", July 22nd - Aug. 1st. Several were able to get tickets. Fri., July 30th we all met at Ryans for the 3rd annual reunion. There were 23 who attended. The '53 classmates were Lois Shrewsbury Caswell, Ray Vest, Basil Shrader, R F Munsey, Perino Massaroni, Bill Miles, Elizabeth (Bell) and Roger Adams, James Blevins, Tom Shrewsbury. The '54 classmates were Jim Bailey, June Allegrini Arthurs, Norma Bostic Linkous. Our main speaker, Jim Bailey, gave a great presentation on schools "Past vs. Present". A special thanks to Roger Adams for making the reservations. Perino turned over his position on the reservation committee to Roger Adams and Tom Shrewsbury. Saturday, July 31st...The memorial service was at 10:00 AM at the bridge in Bramwell. We lost two more classmates...Nancy Mitchell MIller and Nancy Tillis Smith.

After the memorial Roger and Elizabeth, Perino and Myra, R F and Elaine, Norma, June, and Lois drove to Montcalm where they had breakfast at "My Cafe". James Blevins joined them at the Cafe. Saturday from 11-4 PM at the Bluestone Inn there were several musical groups playing Bluegrass music and a wonderful performance of Southern Gospel songs sung by Myra Massaroni. Others spent their free time visiting family and friends. Afterwards Roger and Elizabeth, Perino and Myra, R F and Elaine enjoyed the buffet dinner at the Bramwell Cafe. Saturday evening was the Sock Hop at the old Bluefield Auditorium in Bluefield W. VA. Perino and Myra, Basil and Pat, R F and Elaine, June (Allegrini) and Joe Arthurs attended. Everyone had a great time.
