Player of the Year - 1988

Coach Robert Wray (1950 - 2017) coached at Bramwell High School for thirteen years and his 1988 basketball team won the West Virginia State Championship. He was a great coach and wonderful person.

1988 Coach Wray coached the Bramwell Millionaires to a 26-1 season and was named "Coach of the Year". During his thirteen year career at Bramwell through 1988, Coach Wray had established a tremendous record of 204 - 91 and managed the team to back-to-back 20-win seasons. Under his guidance Bramwell dominated the southern West Virginia Class A basketball scene for three straight years.

Player, Lamont Woods was named "Basketball Player of the Year"in 1988. This 6-3 forward averaged 18.7 points per game and 10.2 rebounds a game. For the 1988 season Lamont racked up a total of 505 points.
