BRAMWELL HIGH SCHOOL CLASS '53

IN MEMORY OF DONALD LEE CROMER

BLUEFIELD Donald Lee Cromer, 73, of Route 4, Box 312, Bluefield (Nemours), went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Feb. 07, 2007 at his residence. Donald was born on July 30, 1933 in Bramwell, Va. to the late Leon C. Cromer and Lula Hungdley Cromer. He was a resident of Nemours for the past 40 years. He worked in the mining part manufacturing industry. Mr. Cromer was a quiet loving man who was beloved by his family members and neighbors. He was a very devoted and loving husband and brother. Donald served his country during the Korean War with the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margaret Jean Neel Cromer; three brothers: Johnny Cromer, Leonard "Buster" Cromer and Leon Cromer Jr.; one sister: Martha Costa. Survivors include: Three brothers: Edward L. Cromer and wife Patricia of Bluefield, Harold E. Cromer and wife Carolyn of New Hampshire, Harlan "Dickie" Cromer and wife Ruth of Bedford, Va.; one sister: Edith DelMedico of Massachusetts. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with the Rev. Tony Ellis officiating the service. Burial will follow at the Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Va. Friends and family may call at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Cromer family.

Donald served his country during the Korean War with the U.S. Army.
