Mr. Dennis Lee Belcher, 64, of Maple Acres Road, Princeton died Monday, Jan. 30, 2006 at his residence. Born Dec. 1, 1941, in Boone, N.C. He was the son of the late Walter Estil and Mary Ann Miller Belcher.

Mr. Belcher graduated from Bramwell High School, entered the service to serve with the U.S. Air Force for four years. He was a truck driver for Fairmont Supply Company, Bluefield for many years and a member of the Teamsters Union. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Belcher was a loving and devoted husband who cared for his wife during her long illness. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ima Jean White Belcher, 2003 and a son, Billy Ray Belcher. Survivors include two sons, Dennis Belcher Jr., Landon Belcher and wife Michelle all of Kernersville, N.C.; daughter, Barbara Belcher Ingram and husband Timothy of Princeton; two grandchildren, Matthew and Kayla Ingram; four brothers and spouses, Estil (J.R.) and Mary Belcher Jr. Walter and Ruth Belcher, Teaford & Sherry Belcher, all of Princeton, Jerry and Melinda Belcher of South Gap, Va.

Upon the request of Mr. Belcher, the family will honor his wishes, his body will be cremated, their will be no visitation or services. The family would request, if you choose to remember or honor his life, a memorial gift to the American Cancer Society, 1808 Jefferson St., Bluefield, WV 24701 would be appreciated. The Belcher family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory & Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
