FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Vincent Lee (Buck) Farley, 73, died December 18, 2007 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville, N.C., of complications from a fall. He attended Bramwell High School and was active in sports.
Vincent served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Paris, France. He was retired from Westinghouse, Columbus, Ohio.
Vincent was born October 30, 1934, Montcalm, W.Va., the son of the late Charles Oscar and Elsie Farley. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Oscar Farley, Jr., Ralph Donald Farley and James Robert Farley.Survivors include three sisters, Geraldine Farley Stine, E. Levern Farley of Fayetteville, N.C. and Isabelle Farley of Margate, FL.; nine nieces and nephews, nine great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorial services held 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2008 at Roselawn Memorial Mausoleum in Princeton, W.Va. with the Rev. Jack Tankersley officiating. Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service and Crematory, Inc. of Fayetteville, N.C. was in charge of arrangements.
