LAST TRAIN TO BRAMWELL

In 1996 the last train to Bramwell, WV delivered this "old" dining car for Heritage Park. The train backed down the P.B. & W. Rail Line from Pocahontas,VA. The P. B. & W. served Bramwell for over fifty years. It was once known as the "Toonerville Trolley" to Bramwell from Pocahontas. The train also served communities like Duhring, Goodwell, Montcalm and McComas, West Virginia. It is envisioned that in the future a special tourist train will once again travel the rails between Bramwell and Matoaka.

This picture was taken as the train approached the location of the Historic Bramwell Train Depot and the old Bramwell Swinging Bridge.
