MOLLIE CRAFT (1880 - 1954) Dedicated Bramwell Nurse.

Historic Bramwell pioneer Mollie Craft (center) shown in Bramwell working as a Red Cross nurse. Mollie N. Craft was born April 6, 1880 at Union Hall, Virginia. She was the daughter of Sarah Jane Lemon Craft. At an early age she moved to Bramwell, WV with her family and received her education in the Bramwell Schools, Concord College and graduated from St. Lukes School of Nursing. Miss Craft nursed in Welch, Bluefield and surrounding areas until 1941, when she retired; spending her remaining years in Bramwell. When Miss Mollie was nursing she devoted much of her time to nursing the mothers of new born babies. She was the sister of Bramwell pioneer George W. Craft (1886 - 1956).
