"They shall
not grow old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not
weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of
the sun and in the morning we will remember them.

In September 2000 a article appeared
in a local paper in Sedan, Kansas about a
Bramwell High school Class '54 member and his
family. Many of us remember this fellow BHS
graduate from some fifty years ago. He is John
Mooney; shown here when he was serving in the US
Air Force. John made the Air force his career and
served there for twenty two years; retiring in
1976 as a Master Sergeant. John's second career
was with the US Post Office, where he worked for
another 17 years. Those of us who have served in
the military realize the sacrifices that John and
his family made in the defense of this nation.
John is to be commended for his years of military
service to our country. |
