Historic Myer House - Bramwell, West Virginia

MEYERS HOUSE was built in 1 8 9 2 and is a long two-story narrow dwelling crossed by two gables, one clapped gable and poarches symmetrically placed on either side of the house. It is covered with aluminum siding. The house sits on lot 127 along the side of Brick Street in the Town of Bramwell, WV.

This two story mansion was the former home of Vernie Meyers, wife of Isaac T. Mann Mr. Mann was one of the foremost southern WV coal baron’s and a Republican delegate from 1908 to 1916. He was prominent in the Coal Mining industry, active in Washington, and had a huge influence on the real estate development of southern West Virginia, resulting in the town of Itmann, so named for the family.

The Historic Meyers House is presently (YR. 2012) the home of PAMELA'S B & B. It is a wonderful place to spend a few nights while visiting Historic Bramwell.
