Pat Spicer Smith Memioram

LaBELLE, FL – Patricia Susan "Patty" Spicer Smith, 76, of LaBelle, Florida, formerly of Walkerton, Virginia, died Wednesday, May 24, 2023. Born September 27, 1946 in McComas, she was the daughter of the late William Spicer and Helen Huffman Spicer.

Patty was a graduate of Bramwell High School. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland in computer science and was computer programmer. She enjoyed quilting, bingo, gardening and traveling. As a military spouse of 22 years, Patty has lived in 10 states and in two countries.

In addition to her father and mother, Helen Ann Huffman Spicer she was preceded in death by her husband, James Smith; and brother, Mickey Spicer.

Survivors include four children, Karen Garland of Georgia, Tammy Hixson of Virginia, Sheri Smith of North Carolina and Chris Smith and wife Amber of Florida; nine grandchildren, Jason Hixson, Andrew Smith, Katie Smith, Amber Hixson, Scott Smith, Cassy Hixson, Allie Smith, Daniel Garland and Blayne Mayfield; and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Michael Davis officiating. Interment will follow at the Milam Cemetery in Beartown.
