Robert H. "Bobby" Veneri was born March 24, 1937. Bobby died on January 31, 2000. He is buried in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton, WV.
Mr. Robert H. "Bob" Veneri, 62, of No. 3 Crown Point (Hillcrest Addition) Princeton, was dead on arrival Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at the Princeton Community Hospital. Born March 24, 1937, at Montcalm, he was a son of the late Anthony Lafayette and Mary Ella Matson Veneri.
He graduated from Bramwell High School, earned a degree from Bluefield College in Bluefield, Va., he then continued his level of education in Michigan, with the use of his engineering background to receive additional training from a tool and die vocation.
For the next five years, he served as a tool and die maker in Michigan. He then returned to the Princeton area, becoming the owner and operator of the Maidenform Cafeteria in Princeton, for several years. As a business person, he then became the owner of a used car dealership in the area, from this he moved into a new Toyota dealership in Mercer County, for which he owned for many years. He then developed a mobile home dealership for new and used mobile homes, enlarging his business, then moved into the area of developing a company to deliver/transport and place mobile homes on property in a multi state region. His love for the general public was apparent at the K 0 Convenience Center, Green Valley which he owned and operated.
He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church, Princeton, and a member of the Renewal Sunday School class. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Sean Robert Stephenson. Survivors include his devoted loving wife of 44 years, Carol Sue White Veneri; two daughters, Teni Veneri Stephenson and husband Kurt of Charlotte, and their children, Carly and Brady Stephenson, and Ronda Veneri Clark and husband Mike of Princeton, and their children Michelle Sue and Allison Jo Clark; one son, Brent Veneri and wife Joni of Princeton, and their children, Layne and Tanner Veneri; two brothers, Randall Veneri and wife Sandy and E. Lynn Veneri and wife Patty, all of Princeton; one sister, Robin Veneri and Legg and husband Basil of Bridgeport; and nieces and nephews, Tony Veneri and wife Becky, Anthony and Bryce Veneri, Gina Veneri Bruno and husband Steve, Karen Veneri Meyers and husband Mike, and Brad Veneri and wife Jordie and their son, Cale.
A celebration of life services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church, Princeton, with Rev. Clifford G. Schell officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens on the Courthouse Road, Princeton. Pallbearers will be Jerry Siner, Mike Watson, Rober Lee "Mokey" Prevento, Paul and Matt Barrnette, Mike Peake, Mark Linkenoker and James Whaler.
