HISTORIC BRAMWELL - 1909 & 1919

This unique 1909 overview of the Historic Bramwell is looking west from the hill behind the Freeman Mansion. Notice the Episcopal Church on the right of the picture and the Historic Isaac T. Mann House in the background. A close look will reveal one of the three bridges that crosses the Bluestone River. The Presbyterian Church can be seen in the distant background.

This is essentially the same view of Historic Bramwell as the above picture but the time frame is ten years later - 1919. Note the growth of trees in this ten year period. Bluestone Avenue that goes to Bramwell High School is clearly visible at the far right of this picture. Many of us refer to the road curve shown in this picture as "Hope' s Curve". Do you know why?
