in this photograph are Lora Jane Bailey and son
Tommy Bailey. Ken Bowen took this picture in 1958
at the Bailey home on Sinai Mountain. Tommy is
having supper after finishing a long day of labor
in the local coal mines. Lora Bailey was a
leader in local community and church events. She
lived to be 95 years old. Lora Jane
Duncan Bailey (July 27, 1902 - Aug. 7, 1997) was
the wife of Cletus E. Bailey ( 1902 - 1949). Cletus
was the son of Alex Bailey.
Lora's
son Tommy later married and was living in
Goodwill ( in the area known as
"Frogtown") at the time of his death in
1997. Birth: Feb. 18, 1936 - Goodwill, Mercer County, West Virginia. Death: May 5, 1997, Goodwill Mercer County, West Virginia.
