Bramwell High School 1908 Students
The 1908 Bramwell High School students are shown with only partial identification: Front Row ( L - R ): Maymie Martin, Second Row ( L - R ): Myrtle Hale, Isabelle Toy. Back Row ( L - R ): Glenna Pack, John Blanton and Miss Minnie Moore. The year of this photo has not been verified. In 1910 - 1911 the
full-year course was added. Fifty pupils were enrolled in
the high school in 1012. Four graduates Glenna Pack,
Isabelle Toy, Lucile Rowan and Fannie Vincent were the
first to graduate from Bramwell High School. ( These two sentences
from Martha Jane Becker's Book... "Bramwell, The
Diary of a Millionaire Coal Town." The photograph
source is unknown. ) Many people remember
John Blanton as the Post Master in the Freeman Post
Office for many years during the 1940 and 50s. (
